Activities

Genealogy News, the SAGA newsletter, is published monthly. It contains information about upcoming meetings and minutes of previous meetings. In addition, the newsletter includes informational tidbits and queries from genealogists from all over the world.

Seminars are offered for both beginner and intermediate genealogists. Computer seminars are being planned as more genealogists are using this medium to find their ancestors. Regular meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 PM, except in December. Locations and speakers are announced through the SAGA newsletter and the area newspapers and television. Guest speakers have been area genealogists, authors, and professionals from state archives and historical agencies.
